The rich history of Ohio’s ceramic art continues. Sculptural, figural and functional clay work by Ohio’s contemporary ceramic artists is brought together in this extraordinary exhibition; a compelling variety of work.

SIX YEAR EXCHANGE
In conjunction with the Westcott House, The Springfield Museum of Art is proud to host an exhibit celebrating the sixth and final year of a print exchange between the Dayton Ohio and Kyoto Japan print cooperatives. This exhibition will feature the newest prints made specifically for this exhibit as well as highlights from the six-year history of the exchange.

REGIONAL DIALECT
Organized by the Dixon Gallery in Memphis, Tenn., The Horseman Collection brings together fifty-seven major works by American painters depicting the American scene between the two world wars, with all its pleasure, pain and complexity. This intriguing Collection captures the depth and breadth of the American Regionalist art movement.

National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore has become one of the strongest photographic voices behind America’s endangered species. OHIO PLEIN AIR SOCIETY
Plein air is a term derived from the French phrase en plein air, which literally means 'in the open air'. These artists, painting in the open air, are particularly interested in the influence of the changing light outdoors. The Museum is proud to host this exhibition of stunning works that capture the nuances of lights and shadows of landscapes during all seasons of the year. Truly a moving exhibit.
