The Art Reference Library was moved during the Summer 2008 renovations.  The new location, centrally located in the building, includes a free public wifi hotspot (wireless internet). There are thousands of books and journals related to the visual arts available for research and study. The museum regularly subscribes to 15 periodicals as well as the Art Index.

The library is open to the public during regular business hours; its holdings are non-circulating.
